WESTFIELD, Ind. — LIV Golf is bringing an even bigger finish to Indiana this week.
LIV Golf Indianapolis 2026 will take place August 20–23 at The Club at Chatham Hills in Westfield, with the tournament now serving as the official finale of the 2026 LIV Golf season.
Over four days of competition, 57 players will compete for the Indianapolis individual title, while the league will also crown its 2026 Team Champion and celebrate the top finishers in the season-long Individual Championship.
The expanded role gives Indianapolis an even bigger spotlight following a record-setting LIV Golf debut in Indiana last year.
Rahm arrives as the 2026 Individual Champion
Legion XIII captain Jon Rahm has already clinched his third consecutive season-long LIV Golf Individual Championship, entering Indianapolis with 944.54 points.
But the battle for the remaining two spots on the season podium is far from over.
Bryson DeChambeau currently holds second place with 726.20 points, followed by Joaquin Niemann with 553.66. Lucas Herbert sits close behind with 541.41, while Tyrrell Hatton remains within reach at 453.23.
With 200 points available to the winner in Westfield, the final tournament could still reshape the top of the standings.
The Team Championship will also be decided at Chatham Hills. Scores from all four players on each of LIV Golf’s 13 teams will count each day, adding another layer of competition throughout the four-day finale.
LIV Golf returns after a record-setting weekend in Indiana
LIV Golf’s first visit to Westfield delivered one of the league’s biggest U.S. events.
According to LIV Golf, approximately 60,000 fans attended the three-day tournament in 2025, setting a U.S. attendance record for the league. Indianapolis also established LIV Golf’s single-day U.S. merchandise sales record.
On the course, Sebastián Muñoz captured the individual victory while Torque GC celebrated the team win.
This year, LIV Golf returns with an expanded four-day format and considerably more at stake.
Indianapolis takes center stage for the season finale
LIV Golf announced Monday that the previously scheduled Aramco LIV Golf Michigan, originally set for August 27–30, will no longer take place. As a result, Indianapolis becomes the final event on the 2026 calendar and will also host the Team Championship.
The change comes as LIV Golf prepares for the next chapter of the league.
LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil said the organization will use the conclusion of the season to focus its resources on what comes next, describing a future league model with greater player ownership, a sustainable business structure and an evolving fan experience.
“Indianapolis will be a fitting finale for the League as fans have known it and the starting point for what we believe it can become,” O’Neil said.
For Indiana golf fans, that transition puts Westfield directly at the center of an important weekend for the league.
LIV Golf also reiterated its commitment to the local market, highlighting its relationship with The Club at Chatham Hills, the City of Westfield, Hamilton County and the state of Indiana.
“LIV Golf has enjoyed a tremendous partnership with Chatham Hills, the City of Westfield, Hamilton County and the state of Indiana,” said Ross Hallett, LIV Golf Executive Vice President and Head of Events.
Hallett added that the league is committed to a long-term partnership with the community following the response to its Indianapolis debut.
Changes to the weekend entertainment schedule
While four days of golf will continue as planned, LIV Golf also announced changes to the entertainment portion of the Indianapolis event.
Previously scheduled performances by Thomas Rhett and Disco Lines will no longer take place due to what LIV Golf described as unavoidable changes to the entertainment program.
The league acknowledged the disappointment the changes may cause for fans and said Indianapolis ticket holders can review their available options through LIV Golf.
Four days of championship golf in Westfield
Despite the schedule changes, the stakes on the course are now higher than originally planned.
Indianapolis will crown its individual tournament winner, determine the remaining positions on the 2026 Individual Championship podium and crown the LIV Golf Team Champion — all during the same weekend.
Limited tickets and hospitality packages remain available. Specialty-priced tickets are also offered for groups of 10 or more, teachers, first responders and military members. Children 12 and under can receive complimentary Grounds Pass admission with a paying adult.
