Thiago Agustín Tirante delivered one of the biggest upsets of the Cincinnati Open on Saturday.
The Argentine rallied from a set down to defeat 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic 2-6, 6-4, 6-4, securing the biggest victory of his career and a spot in the third round in Cincinnati.
Djokovic looked in control early, taking the opening set 6-2. But Tirante stayed composed and turned the match around, taking the second set 6-4 before closing out the deciding set by the same score.
The victory becomes an unforgettable moment for the 25-year-old Argentine, who entered Cincinnati ranked No. 50 in the world. Djokovic, meanwhile, is a three-time Cincinnati champion and holds a record 40 ATP Masters 1000 titles.
The match was also played in difficult heat and humidity. Djokovic struggled physically during the second set and required medical attention, but Tirante remained focused and took advantage of his opportunities to complete the comeback.

Tirante now advances to the third round of the Cincinnati Open, where he will face 20-year-old Spaniard Martín Landaluce.
