INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Fever picked up another important win Friday night, defeating the Dallas Wings 98-87 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse to improve to 22-12 on the season.
Caitlin Clark led Indiana with 29 points and 10 assists, turning in a dominant second half after scoring 16 points in the third quarter. The performance marked the 20th game of Clark’s career with at least 20 points and 10 assists, the most such games in WNBA history.
Aliyah Boston added 16 points and 12 rebounds, including 10 points in the fourth quarter, while Kelsey Mitchell contributed 23 points. Tyasha Harris also provided a major spark off the bench, going 5-for-5 from three-point range to finish with 15 points.
After Dallas held a three-point lead entering the fourth quarter, Indiana took control with a 15-2 run to open the final period. Clark’s second three-pointer of the night gave the Fever a 78-68 advantage, and Indiana maintained control from there. Harris’ late three-pointers helped seal the victory.
The win was Indiana’s eighth in its last 10 games and moved the Fever into sole possession of the No. 4 playoff position, with a half-game lead over the Atlanta Dream.
Dallas was led by Paige Bueckers, who finished with 29 points, six rebounds and six assists. Arike Ogunbowale added 20 points for the Wings.
The Fever will look to build on the win Sunday when they travel to face the Atlanta Dream.
