Indianapolis Colts star Quenton Nelson is once again receiving recognition from his peers across the league.
The NFL announced the first players included in its annual Top 100 Players ranking on Monday, with Nelson checking in at No. 99. The list is voted on exclusively by NFL players and highlights the league’s most respected and impactful performers from the previous season.
For Nelson, this marks his fourth appearance on the prestigious list and his first since 2022.
The veteran guard previously ranked No. 29 in 2020, No. 33 in 2021, and No. 28 in 2022. After a brief absence from the rankings, Nelson has worked his way back into the Top 100 following another productive season anchoring the Colts’ offensive line.
Now entering his ninth NFL season, Nelson remains one of the most accomplished offensive linemen in football. Since being selected sixth overall by Indianapolis in the 2018 NFL Draft, he has established himself as the cornerstone of the Colts’ offensive front and one of the league’s premier guards.
His performance during the 2025 season backed up that reputation.
According to Pro Football Focus, Nelson finished as the fourth-highest graded guard in the NFL, earning an impressive 84.5 overall grade. He was especially effective in pass protection, allowing just 19 pressures across 637 pass-blocking snaps.
That translated to a pressure rate of only 2.98 percent, one of the best marks among NFL guards.
Even more impressive, Nelson surrendered just one sack throughout the entire season. The lone sack allowed came during the Colts’ Week 14 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The recognition arrives as Indianapolis prepares for the 2026 season with high expectations for its offensive line. The Colts return four of five starters from last year’s unit, giving the team valuable continuity in front of quarterback Daniel Jones.
As training camp approaches, Nelson continues to be one of the franchise’s most important leaders both on and off the field. His return to the NFL Top 100 serves as another reminder that even after eight seasons, he remains among the best at his position.
For Colts fans, seeing No. 56 back among the NFL’s elite is hardly a surprise.
